LENSEI NISHIZAWA

Born in sunny Gold Coast, Australia, Lensei studied Chemistry instead of Japanese in high school after deciding it would be more useful.  Graduating with a Bachelor of Popular Music in 2006, Lensei moved to Tokyo to further his career as an in-house songwriter for Sony Music, writing songs for Mika Nakashima, Tomohisa Yamashita and Korean boyband MYNAME, among others.

Lensei is also a member of the jazz vocal group "jammin' Zeb," which this year released "Your Songs Vol. 2," its twelfth album.  Lensei's last theatrical performance was as Pontius Pilate in a 2001 production of "Jesus Christ Superstar."  After a brief 17-year hiatus, he's rather looking forward to treading the boards once more.
